well here goes. for my 91 r/t

Installed new 3bar map, (one of many prev owners must have had one and left connector) stageIII sbec, +40's (previously had +20's)

left the turbo XS MBC in for the time being but turned it all the way down.

drove car, only made 5-6 psi. Hmmm, Opened up turbo xs a little, car went higher. Didnt want to chance anything, and just removed MBC completely (since i wont be using it (incabin and boost spiking)) from car and re-did vacum line. Drove car, 5-6 pounds. ugh.

Now, I question the map connector that was in the car, it has some corrosion on it.

Would the corroded wires on the map be holding me at 6psi?
I broke the connector trying to clean it, so im going to have to "engineer"
the map wire connector this evening.

the car starts and runs fine (except for the 6 lb limit) . it had a rough time running when cold, but i think the fpr is a little too high, (40-42 static). it did the same cold start thing with the +20's too.

at least this isnt my DD and I have a few other cars to fall back on.
and since the job switch i dont need a car from 8-5 (godsend!!!!)

If you're running a vaccum from intake manifold to waste, 6psi sounds normal.

If you want more boost, use the boost controller or run the vaccum lines according to the vaccum map.
