WTS: 90 Daytona VNT A568 $800

This is the car that Jason (J4278h) sold to me last month. Its red with black interior, about 140k miles on it. It ran and drove good, but the turbo seals went bad, so now It is not driveable. I checked the compression, dont remember the exact numbers, 3 cylinders were around 140-145, and one was 135, so the engine is fairly healthy. The A568 Transmission shifts perfect. It has 16" pumpers, the tires are old and cracked. Some unexpected problems came up in my life, and It will be a long time before I am able to fix this car up. If I can sell it for close to what I paid for it, I will do it. I am asking $800 FIRM. I don't care if anyone feels it is not worth it. I just paid $900 for it last month, and I am not willing to take a big loss on it. It is not worth it to me to sell it for any less. If I can't sell it, I will store it until I can afford to convert it to TII.

Here is the original thread on this car for sale when Jason was selling it. It has a more detailed description. I haven't changed anything on the car, except for the turbo seals going bad on me.

The car is in Grand Rapids, Michigan. it will have to be towed out of here, or bring a new turbo and get it running.

I would love to get a beat up VNT car and swap everything into a GLH or Shelby Charger. With a S60 VNT turbo, it would be a wicked autocross car.

Rust/body/interior condition? Do all of the options work? AC? Sunroof?

The body is litle rough. There is a 3" rust spot on top of one of the rear wheel wells. I haven't looked at the under body real well. I didn't notice any major rust though. I can take some pics. Interior is not too bad. It's fairly clean. I havent tested all the options. I do know the power windows go up slow. It does not have a sunroof.

Just so everyone knows, the underbody is very rusty. I just noticed how bad it is. Im sure no one will want it for $800, but that is still the price. take it or leave it.

It depends on if you want a daily driver, drag car or autocross, or anything along them lines. Are you into cars that have go along with show or just all out stock sleepers? If you really want to mess with people build a van and blow the doors off everybody. All and all it's up to you. We just act as the little guy in your head giving you all them ideas.

Im a fan of sleepers. I have one myself. But the main reason I want an L body is because of the weight of it.
