well i went to the arm drop live this weekend, and wasnt able to muster up any good runs.
the night i was going to leave for the track, i was making sure everything was good with the car, then i went into boost and SNAPPED ANOTHER intermediate shaft :yuck: this happened at like 11pm. thankfully my gf lived nearby and i woke her up so she could lend me the van, drive to my place ot get my buddies car with the trailer, pick the shelby up, drop the van off, head back home....its like midnight by the time this happens. so a couple beers and 3 hours later, shes back up n running with another shaft and oil pump from my only spare motor. i did the timing quickly and by 5am we are all packed up and on the road.

anyway i could only get a couple runs in....until this. I siliconed the dipstick to try n help with some blow by. i forgot to put it back in the tube and left it on the rad cradle. needless to say i oiled the shiiiit down out of my engine bay and when i came back to make my hot lap pass in the preliminary 12 sec runs, i did the burnout and came up to stage and they wouldnt let me run. yes oil dripping everywhere.

soooooo i got it all cleaned up....one of the track guys wouldnt even look at my car the next day i went to go race, he told me to get my focking car off his track and get the hell off the property. i was sooooo mad, i got right in his face and told him to go F himself, the car wasnt even dripping ONE BIT at that time.

anyway theres a lil main seal leak. i try to go to tech n talk to them, by the time i get there, there is a drip of oil like every 10 seconds. not like any other car there had oil leaks.....nope they just singled me out all because of one mistake by me :( i could have ran all weekend with that smalll leak. they would never have noticed.

I ran all weekend with the CAT sensor unplugged....well the motor torqued and smashed it, it broke the sensor and pigtail lol. going to have to relocate this damn thing. also the came was towards the 2nd rib from front of motor, rather then the 3rd, so it was kind of advanced. top end was really falling off between the combination of the 2. was still able to muster another 12.2 which i feel is O.K. for the way the car was running....but it def didnt feel like it was pulling when i 1st got things 2gether. the car is idling really bad now too, going to have to investigate. i hope the timing is still in check :o the motor needs to be pulled to check the oil leak and also been thinkin about changing the int shaft bearings.

anywho here are 2 vids.

The car will always run perfect-until it is time to leave for the track:mad: A drop of oil every 10 seconds is not a 'lil main seal leak':o Get that slowed down or no track will let you run... After a trip like that I tend to park the car in the garage and not even look at it for a while:(

If the blow by is as bad as you implied, it is very likely the rear main.
