The Order the main caps go on?

So i am researching this and read some post...what i didn't see is if your supose to put the caps on in an order...i am going to get that Plastiguage and do all that...but i see your supose to re-align the thrust bearing by torqueing it down to 5 ft-pounds and prying the crank front to back...so am i supose to put that bearing and cap in first? then work my way out? how do you do your builds?

There's really no torque sequence on main caps. Put all the caps on with bolts finger tight then alternate your wrench between each main cap bolt till you're torqued down ... move to the next one. (30lbs + 1/4 turn) I start with #1 then #5 .... #3 and what's left. Turn the crank as each cap is torqued to make sure you're OK.
