A friend at work showed me the mag on the way out of work tonight. Didn't have long to check it out but it is a sub 4K mile car, second owner and is out of California. Anyone know who it belongs to? I know there aren't that many ultra low mile cars around. Also in the article they wanted feedback if they should feature more cars like that.

I will have to check this out. I wonder if Borders or Barnes and Noble would have it? Being as I live near a college town at least it isn't hard to find a book usually.......

His name is Robert something, I've met him several times but he live too far north to hang out with our SoCal crew. First time I saw the car was in 97 at the Phoenix Shelby GTG. The car is 98% perfect. He has a thread about it on Team Shelby:)

Yes it was Robert something. He said you can find that mag at Shaws, Auto Stoned or your all time fav WalMart.

Not a bad article. I guess MCR found the car at the Shelby Bash. I never heard it before but he lists the car as a stage 2 car, like it came from the factory with the stage 2 computer. Did some cars come that way?

Auto Stoned? nice Kelly.

great pix. i noticed the car is missing the hood pad and block off plate. That MP Stage II logic module probably was never installed at Whittier, i believe all 1,000 cars were identical drive-train wise, remember the big concern back then over the A-525 being too weak to support more than 12 psi of boost?

maybe Stage 2 refers to Turbo II?

Yep, I said the car was 99% original, I kinda mentioned the block off plate and the hood pad to him one time when I was getting the 100% original speech from him, didn't go over too well;) Also I think it is a 'small' Shelby windshield decal (as in 86 S leftovers) car but a trustworthy source verified that some 87's did come that way...

100% original? never seen that on any TM cause almost all of them have an incorrect replacement battery at a minumum. and i wouldn't blame anyone for removing the ugly hood pad and block off plate.

went to Auto Stoned Kelly, no magazine.

Shouldn't the middle stripe be black and silver too? Looks like that one is solid silver?

Given that the pic is not high-res and the front end is a little overexposed, its hard to tell, though I'm sure the above posters would have noticed this in person and it would only be 96% correct.

Ah. I see it now. Yeah the beltline. Looks solid until you zoom in.
