'90 turbo van harness into '85 Omni

I want to buy this 85 Omni near me, I'm going to look at it tomorrow. It runs but has the boring TBI motor. I have a 2.2L turbo engine and rad/IC set up, as well as a wiring harness and computer out of a 90 turbo van. What I need to know is will the 90 harness work with the 85 electronics? I can splice or swap pins on the bulkhead, that is no problem for me. If not there is an 88 turbo Lebaron as well as a 88 Shelby z at the junkyard that I can strip for parts but I would rather use the stuff I already got.

Are you sure the 85 OmnI is TBI? First normal model year for TBI Omni is 1988. 10th digit in vin is F for 85 == J for 88. Most people use the dash harnes from an 88 TBI omni with the bulkhead connector and about a foot of underhood wire joined to and 88-89 turbo harness. I have done a few but recently Shelbymonster posted an 89 Turbo minivan harness will plug into an 88-89 Omni bulkhead connector which would probably simplify things. I'm not experienced with 90 SBEC stuff as 88/89 SMEC computers etc seem the easiest to work with due to their ease of availability.
