Papas dodge mopar expo june 13th-14th

New Britain Ct. www.papasdodge.com Big 2 day show with a cruise in on saturday night.They will be having 3 classes. Numbered shelbys, and Shelby inspired,and 95 and up. so the setup is like this:

Saturday will be a show,with one trophy for each class, decided by the MIM www.moparsinmotion.com and Papas. Then its off to the cruise in, with music, burnouts,fun,etc. Sunday, will be the full out show judged by all of the entrants. 3 trophys for all classes,1st through 3rd. So, 8 trophys in all. There will be food and music,bands,and all things fun.

Also, kelly gomer and i are getting a host hotel setup, so if you want part of this shout it out now. we need to get some rooms set aside.

If anyone is coming to this, for both days or just one, please let me know so i can get a head count. Thanks!!

Also there is a cruise in at the Burger King on the Berlin Turnpike Sat night. They favor Mopars but welcome anyone except imports and beaters.

For those of you that do not know the Berlin Turnpike was a big street racers heaven in the day with long straight road and stop lights spaced 1/4 mile or more apart.

Papa's Dodge is also located very close to the turnpike and is quite easy to find off of RT 9.

The host hotel is the Holiday Inn Express located at 2104 N Broad St, Meriden, CT 06450 (203-443-5700). It is 13 miles from Papa's and 8 miles from the BK at the north end of the tpk. There is also plenty of room to park trailers if that is an issue.

as of right now, we have right around 12 cars for the 2 day show. Most will come for the saturday night cruise in. We have a holiday inn set aside for the night, then its off to Papas for the massive show!
a 3k original mile csxt, 4-7 86glhs, 24k and up, 1 dakota,2 87 csx, a t3 rampage, a few daytonas,etc.. an 89 csx would be awesome!

Bill, any way we can get a roster to find out which cars that are going to be there were originally sold by Papa's? I know the lists exist but I don't know of anyone that has one. Just thought it would be cool to bring them back and recognize them.

MOPAR EXPO Charity CRUISE NIGHT with Live Music from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm by Marshall Law. This will be at Papa's which will be the Classic Cruise Night Launch Point for a historic ride to nearby Newington, CT to Ralph’s Rapid Transit MOPAR Cruise In (@ Burger King) about 8 pm.

MOPAR EXPO AUTO SHOW - Sunday, June 14, 2009, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
16 classes (including Shelby and Shelby Inspired classes for your group) with 3 trophies for each class.

well for those of you that went to the show, all i have to say that it was really good to meet you. i didnt know that glhs engine compartment were that compact! but their were some neat cars their. i saw a red convert lebaron turbo 5spd, rampage with a TIII and omni from vermont (lady with a doggy in the back seat), a cool bad arse looking red shelby(?) daytona with dual NOS bottle and gutted very clean too and also met turbo3iroc too.
