My neon started leaking coolant from the front right area by the radiator support. Today I replaced both radiator hoses (they were bad anyway). I also pulled the radiator out and checked it thoroughly for cracks and found nothing. It is coming from somewhere up front but I can't seem to locate it. The engine is totally dry but the bottom radiator support and front of the belt shield get soaked. The car will never overheat as long as there is fluid in the radiator and just started doing it recently. I suspect maybe a bad water pump or possibly head gasket. But that wouldn't explain the mystery leak because the engine is dry and so is the belt area. I don't know where to look next, I might as well do a DOHC head swap while I'm at it.

I might be thinking water pump too. You need to wipe down everything and watch it run to see where the water is emanating from.
