i was having problems recently with my turn signal unit on my spirit.
right signals were no problem,
left signals worked 25% of the time if used in momentary mode and held there, but if pushed down into the lock mode they would stop working as if a bulb was out. I checked all the bulbs and all were ok. my hazzards worked fine as well with no problems.
I took out the turn signal unit from the steering column and took it apart and cleaned the contacts and put dieelectric grease in it (only stuff I had on the shelf, hope it works) out it all back together and it works great.
I found some replacement ones for 25+ shipping, but I'm cheap and it took like not even 30 minutes to fix it. the FSM showed what should have continuity to troubleshoot to see if the unit isnt making contact on all the poles.
