I have some Pumpers on the way, that are going to be powdercoated black for my daytona, Now im looking at tires to get, first off tires for the rims:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=g-Force+Sport&vehicleSearch=false&partnum=25ZR6GFSP&fromCompare1=yes&place=0

These fit correct, a 225/50 was on my car factory but on a crab wheel, just figured ask. Any opinion on these tires, from reading reviews they have good traction for the price, I don't want to dump 800 bucks or something on tires, but i want something that will be good for Dry surfaces. Car is NEVER driven in winter, only is going to see summer and some rain. Thoughts??

Next is springs/susp. parts

Eibach is the only thing that is still made for these cars right??? So thoughts on these springs?

People have to cut coils on these right, Id like to have the car lowered at LEAST an in, what is everyone else using/doing for springs?

For struts(i only doing front, have rear air shocks) I was going to go with GR2s since that is the only thing made that i know of, koni is sol:mad: Thoughts???

IF you can afford them, or if you can find them on sale somewhere, these Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's work nice on my R/T in 225/50/16.

Edit: After reading Kelly's post, I realized that I made a mistake in my post. My Goodyear GS-D3's are 205/55/16 Not 225/50/16. We did have the 225/50/16's on my son Mark's White 92 Daytona Iroc Shelby (on 16" Pumpers) and like Kelly said, they were a little twitchy. But for a DD, they worked ok. In the 205 size, Tire Rack's price is $143.00
Sorry for the error. :o

I just put these on my Spirit R/T and they are quite a nice tire and only $81 each in that size. I would consider them more of a daily driver type tire that you can get some performance out of rather than a straight high performance tire like the Goodyears Ralph posted.

My Daytona came with some 225/50s on Ninjas but it handled like crap. Very twitchy and unpredictable. I put 205/55s on it and saw a huge improvement. It could have just been the tires also but I don't remember what they were.

Eibach says you can cut coils off of the stacked area for additional drop. I have no experience with it though.

I sold a lot of G-Force sports, and at under $80 per tire that can't be beat.

As far as powder coating wheels, make sure they use the low temp stuff. If you use regular powder coat on Al wheels they will lose their temper and that's a bad scene from what I've read.

Correct. I'm happy with the set I have on the 15s for the R/T.
