I need to get me one of these! Preferably not 1600 miles away.

I see them from time to time, pretty popular amongst the minitruck dudes, my buddies had a few back in the day. My one buddy had one sprayed candy gold with graphics. He got a bunch of engine work done by a guy who builds the 2.6 for quarter midgets or whatever. Ill keep my eyes open.

Yeah thanks, I want to build a 2.5 with tons of torque and drop it in a D50 or an early Dakota. I think it would be cool to have some mini tubs on it and to be able to pull the wheels off the ground.. right?
Just a fantasy but I am seriously looking for one. I have a 2.5 N/A motor I am hopefully going to pick up in VA next time down there (a week or so) for 50 bucks. I'll get some turbo parts, make up a harness, bore it .040, Forged internals, Small turbo for more low end, have it lowered,chopped...etc.

I saw a Plymouth Arrow PU for sale around here last summer. I tried to get my friend with a Scamp to buy it.

that would be a good time also.. What is that paper down there full of classifieds that you all have? Sorta like a swap sheet. I cannot believe the good deals in there. I think it's something like The Tidewater Trading Post. People seem to be more realistic with their prices. Up here in NY people think they are selling gold. Saw a few possibly TM's in there reasonably priced last week.

I'm gonna guess that nowadays they're pretty hard to find and demand a premium

I'm not near Tidewater. Less rust here too though.

There was a thread about them on here a year or so ago. Turbodave posted up some good info about them IIRC.

Let's find out how quick the 3.0 tranny breaks in those with a TT Stealth motor in it....
I'd have a D50 or the Raider in a heartbeat if one turned up.

Someone told me that for FWD, the 2.6 and 3.0 were only 1 bolt off, however, the RWD and FWD are meant to be completely different.

I had a 86 Mighty Max with 2.0 and 5spd.It was a great little truck.Traded it in on a 94 Mighty Max.It was also a great truck. Put alot of miles on both of them driving from NC to PA just about everyweekend.
