That thing is nice. 24 mpg in something that heavy is darn good, not to mention being into it so much.

That's a sissy push bumper biatch:p not a brush guard! I was kinda hoping that thing would grow me cause I'm sure the old guy spent a few Benjamins on buying it and a few more on having it installed but I haven't grown to love it-or even like it really.:o Just been cleaning T-reg some today (at least before I started drinking at JohnL's house for his way cool party:thumb:) ande gonna change the oil, not gonna do any mods till after teh first trip to the strip. Just to get a baseline before the power parts start:eyebrows:

Make sure you use the right oil. I think the V10 TDI's are more finicky than even the 4 pops on oil. I think ELF is the what you want to use.

Please, please, PLEASE upgrade the turbos before you throw too much fuel at it. Excessive black smoke is nasty.

Made a little trip to Irwindale Dragstrip last night for my baseline runs. This thing is pretty fun to make passes in and it suprised a few Honda's as well:lol: I was feeling pretty strong with the top 'SUV' spot till an SRT8 Jeep showed up and laid down a 7.46:clap: (like an 11.6X 1/4:wow1:) That thing left sooo hard!
I figured T-Regasaurus would run about 9.50's, (high 14's) but it did a little better:eyebrows:
First pass ever, took off the traction control, power braked to about 1200 RPM's and matted it when the tree came down:
RT .546
60 1.98
330 6.02
1/8 9.312
MPH 72.69
That's a 14.5X 1320 BONE STOCK! It still has the dirty air filters and the black oil that I bought it with last week. I made sure to do nothing (except top up the oil a quart, it takes 12 so that's just a little) since I bought it but put some air in the tires. I have plans for a reflash that advertises 65 WHP and 120lbsFt, a custom air intake, and a high flow exhaust for starters. If that's not enough I'll upgrade the turbos a bit too. Looks like my plan to have this thing in the 13's won't be all that tough:thumb:

Dude 14.5 is slow. Maybe Matt can get you more torque so it can make more HP.:thumb:
J/K....not bad for an over sized kerosene heater(the diesel).:hail::clap:

Just so you know as soon as you change the oil the oil WILL be black again.
