Stock TII TB AIS Motor VS 52MM TB AIS Motor...different?

Hey guys...did a search for this and came up empty handed....but i know simon will chime in with the link :p

I have upgraded my tb to a 52mm...but i took out the ais motor and put it in a daytona that i sold....now i do have a new one i bought for the stock one i have on the car now....can i still use that ais motor on this larger TB or do i need to get one from a 3.3 mini? I thought i read somewhere there alittle different...anyone know?

i think it depends on what year the throttle body is.

they changed the pintle @ some point, to more of a V, then rather a 2 angle

but u can take my word like a grain of salt lol

They say the 52mm is different but I've used my 46mm on 52's and 58's with no issues and mixed and matched the 52's with no issues either. Make sure to take out the throttle adjustment cap so you can play if needed.
