my 85 omni glh

Just about finished with my omni. Got it off eBay last summer and went to south carolina to pick it up. Exterior is rough, but rust free underneath. The stock motor had 3 cracked pistons so I swaped motors. Motor and trans is out of a 88 shelby z (t2, 555). Stock daytona intercooler, 255 fuel pump, 87 daytona lm, and cheap eBay bov. I just got some poly mounts to put in it. Need to work on the brakes to get it on the road. Hope to make sdac drags with it. Decided to pull it out and give it a bath today with the kids help. Lookin good, all you guys need to stop taking all the rust free cars up north.;)
Been looking for a rust free car down here & can't find one.
Looked at local 85 GLHT today, was in upstate NY from 85 to 03. Yes lots of
rust.

If anyone knows of a clean one let me know.
