Hey everyone, thought I would share some more pics of my CSX-T. I love driving the car around, I get compliments from those who know what it is. I added a full 2 1/2" exhaust from cindy of course, from the downpipe all the way back. I plan on fixing the fixing the passenger side window, adding tint and fixing the a/c since this summer is going to be a scorcher.:D

Thanks guys, you would be suprised how hot it gets inside the car without a/c and one working window. As far as the rims I think they look good but I would definitely like to buy a set of Lemans. They are pretty rare at this point.

The wheels are nice, but what's rare about them? They're not factory are they?

Looking at this pic makes me wonder if a cowl cover form a Daytona/ LeBaron will fit or could be trimmed to fit and cover the washer fluid bottle and wiper motor......

So I decided to get the windows tinted after replacing the passenger side top window slide. Now my passenger window goes up and down easily and smoothly. I got 5% on the three back windows and 40% up front. Let me know what you think...

How did you tint the back glass so well? Do tell...on the project list my my CSX-T

I didn't tint the windows myself, I had them done at a shop. It was 200 for all five windows and has a lifetime warranty. I definitely recommend tinting your windows, it keeps your car cooler in the summer, protects you and your car from deadly sun rays lol j/k and it makes it look a whole lot cleaner IMHO. :D

Generally you have to use a heat gun to get the tint to sort of shrink into the concave surface of some back windows.

its really not hard to take out the back window and put it back in if you want to do the tint on your kitchen table. Cost ~$15 for the adhesive.

The reason I was asking is because the only way to do it "right" on a Shadow requires back glass removal. The glass overlaps the trim and sheeet metal of the hatch so there is a good 4 or 5 inches around the circumference of the glass that cannot be reached if the glasss is in the car.

These guys didn't take off the back glass, the computer program they used got the exact size of all windows and the computer made the cut, I'm sure it can be done at home for cheaper but I didn't have any intention of doing it.

After purchasing a rad/ic setup from an 87 CSX on ebay months ago, it was finally time to install everything onto my car that was needed for intercooling. The radiator was said to have had a leak in the past so it was taken to a radiator shop who hot tanked and pressure tested it. After the few leaks that were found were repaired, it was ready for new life under my hood. Thanks to my Dad (xdig), and a little bit of wrenching, everything went in rather smoothly. I purchased two new radiator hoses and a 180* thermostat. I am using an HKS bov and not only is it really loud it is also by far my favorite bov on the market.

Hmmm, well...there is enough room to slide the tint up into that area however there isn't a way to squeegy out any water from underneath it once slid into place...unless they have some really cool tools I don't know about.

Either way...my back glass has to come out as some numb nutt squirted silicone up into the area for some reason...and the only way to get the goop out is to remove the glass. Kinda hard to see it...but if you look on the left side of the back glass you can see what I mean:

I think its a cheese-like substance that grows under the foreskin of an uncircumcised male

hmmm...ok...back on topic.

Im jealous that you can tint your fronts. It's illegal here in bc as you can't smash the glass out as easily in case of an accident where you are trapped inside. :(
