hey was reading on here that u put the cam timing at 12 0 clock.so put at 12 like straight up or 12 o clock with the engine tiliting like it does in the car im confused

From what I understand, it's 12 o'clock relative to the engine. So, with that thinking, it would be more like a little before 12 if you are looking at it as straight up and down, not tilted..It is a bit confusing but once you step back and look at it, it does make sense.

You want the cam gear to be straight up relative to the engine. Its kinda hard to see but when the gear is in the right place there are holes at 3 and 9 o'clock that are lined up with the line between the valve cover and the head.
