Ok, thinking of breaking out the Daytona for a little summer fun. Two of the four tires no longer hold air. I wanted to get Goodyear Eagle GT+4's. They were discontinued some time ago. They were the only tire that held up well. What are you guys running? The car will not see snow. The car has the original 16" directional pumpers so the tire size is 205/55-16. Thanks in advance.

Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2
BFGoodrich g-Force R1 if you never see the rain
Bridgestone Potenza RE-11
BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KD, yes you can still get these in this size.
Yokohama ADVAN A048, expensive, but nice.

I'd also recommend the RT-615 from Falken, but I'm 99% sure they don't make that tire in that size.

BFGoodrichg g-Force Drag Radials up front if you are pushing some decent power.

I think the best all around tire and one that will do nicely in the rain is the PE2. They're price well and there's a lot of places running $70 off right now on Michelin Tires.

Read the reviews on that tire. Acceptable Noisy performance from a Noisy 300 treadwear tire. Did I mention they are Noisy? I have a set of those on SRT rims for my R/T; take offs from an SRT4. After you get some miles on them and above 40 MPH all you hear is tire drone.

I do like the BFG G-force Sports. I have a set of those on my R/T. Solid performing tire, and runs damn near silent compared to the KDWs.

A friend will be getting Firestone Wide Ovals for his SC this week, so we'll see how those work out for him.

A 200 tread wear? I use to run Nitto NeoGens with a 240t/w and they were nice and sticky for about 5k miles.. after 10k it was time to replace.. I cant imagine what life you can get from 200.. but they do have a nice pattern :thumb: and you dont drive the car ever..

I just picked up some cheapy
General Exclaim UHP's (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=General&tireModel=Exclaim+UHP&vehicleSearch=false&partnum=055VR5EUHP&fromCompare1=yes&place=3) for $70ea 380 T/W should last a while.
