Dude, Simon, really? 85 is kinda high with moly lube?

FWIW
I just estimate final torque value of tty fastener.

[EDIT]head 90 - I read somewhere that if the tty bolt does not turn at a 90' lb setting, its good. Others have agreed 90 is the number arp/tty for an 005 HG. Some go higher.[EDIT]

main 60
rod 70
motor runs like raped ape so far bout 1000 miles on it honed ringed all bearings.
rotating assy from different block.

I'll vouch for Simon with the rods. They're 100% 50 foot pounds. I have the paper for that one. I can't say for the others.

To me the ARP head studs torque has always been generic as mine came with instructions that say 75FT/LBS alum head and 65ft/lbs for Iron head. 85 ft/lbs is similar to the stock tty bolts and is a good range IMO

Yeah ... careful about over torquing studs. You can blow a HG that way too.

We've been thru this already, lol. I got this number from the high HP guys on here so thats why I use, so far, no issues except this time with my Cometic, but I didn't put any sealer on it, :(
