I need to remove some undercoat from my old pickup that I am working on. So, what will best remove it? I was looking at another thread saying that methyl ethel ketone with remove some like substances.....
Anyone have any suggestions? I am repainting anyway, so paint damage is no concern.

Cool. Looks like I have a few suggestions. Found out Eastwood makes a undercoat remover.. may have to try a spray can of that.

heatgun & scraper
I use a plastic bristle detailing brush dipped in white gas fuel to scrub the hard spots. and then a rag dipped in white gas to do the final wipe down.
took about an hour to do this much

I used a tooth brush handle sharpened to act as the scraper. Cause I didnt want to damage the underlying (and almost rust free :)) factory paint. Eastwoods rust encapsulator + chassis black extreme are going to cover the wheel well when I'm done.
