micrometer size?

I am looking at a set of micrometers, and don't have my specifications around. The set in mind has a micrometer for 0-1, 1-2, 2-3 and 3-4 inches. will that be enough for everything in our motors?

what size are the bores? I will be getting t-bore gauges as well.
