With the nature of the 2.4 motor that I am building I am strongly considering 4 EGTs to monitor each of the cylinders. I have seen some aircraft gauges capable of 4 egt's all being visible at the same time. Are these accurate enough? Should I get 4 seperate EGT gauges and probes? Suggestions? ~~H

I know the ebay gauges your talking about.
I was looking at them also, but I have chosen to go w/ an equal length header and a indy intake so I think everything should be close to equal. I would run 2 at most if your worried about, I think 4 is extreme, it but deffinately get a wideband.

I have the ones in question. They are pretty sweet. I will get a picture of mine soon.

I monitor all four via narrowband 02's, maybe it's the custom intake is not flow balanced very well or because the headers are not true equal length but there is a two light difference (Dawes style meters) between cylinders under some conditions. So all four is not a bad idea IMO...

If I was going to do that I'd get one of these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Aircraft-4-Cylinder-EGT-Probes-TSOd-STCd_W0QQitemZ4631850713QQcategoryZ26436QQssPageNa meZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem).

That is what we are talking about
For my 2.4 setup I'm using an Indy intake and equal length TBI header so it will flow very even and I will only be using 1 EGT to help w/ tuning + a wideband
