Lebanon Valley Dragway, Lebanon, NY, Saturday test and tune on April 15, only one TD showed, David D. in his 2.2L TII-converted/A-555/nitrous assisted 1985 GLH-T.

goal was to test for 1st time the taller slicks:

Dave and Marci bought a new 24' trailer (i am so envious!):

Jim was there with his 9 second all-motor 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T, car looked fantastic as is always does:

....sporting a new 4" exhaust for 2006:

Jim is building a 1987 CSX that will be 400 hp so look for that later in the year he tells me.

also I shot an in-car video in Dave's car, look for that video and others to be posted later this month:

Dave is set to make another pass, he ran several mid 11-second ET's at 117-118 mph but a 25+ mph direct headwind kept everyone's traps a little low:

leaving the line, look at the car's stance in this pix compared to the previous pix and you get the idea of how hard this GLHT leaves, 1.7xx 60 foot times now are standard for Dave.

...i gotta get one of these cool trailers:

Seeing that Coronet settles it. I'm buying my cousin's '68 Charger.

What size are the slicks on the Omni? I bet they'd rub big time on my car.

they look like 24.5 X 15's

Does he run a spacer??

yes he had to install a spacer, plus do some minor body adjustments to get the tires to clear, i bet Dave sees this thread and might be able to give the details of it all. i think they were 24.5's....yeah Jims Coronet is a blast to watch.

Looks cool! Dave. Please let me know exactly what needed to be done to get these 24.5's on. This is what I need to do for my Horizon.

Mike, I've run them for years.. I had wheels made for them... Just curious if anyone had run them without spacers.

What kind of wheels did you have made? I can have steelies widened locally for cheap, but they aren't light. The Kosei's are only 13lbs and would clear the calipers on my SRT-4.

10 holers... weigh 22lbs apiece...
