2 years ago, I swapped a 2.4 into my Omni. As seen here (http://www.turbododge.info/Archive.html)
It's been a great car ever since. 30-32mpg, tons of power, extremely reliable. I put about 25k miles on it since then. I used it as a commuter for awhile. I used it as my work truck for awhile. I even loaned it to friends and family for weeks at a time when I didn't need it and they did. Lately, I haven't been driving it much because I drive a turbo Caravan for work. So I decided to start making it more of a race car than a commuter car. With a wife and 3 kids, I'm always working on a tight budget. So the cheapest way to make this thing turbo was to boost the octane, rather than lower the compression. Hence the E85 conversion. I'm using 100lb injectors to get enough of the alcohol into the engine, probably a bit larger than I need, but I don't have to worry about outgrowing them. :)
Anyways, I have a blog on the progess of the whole project, which I call "Project GLH SRT4" (http://www.neonsquirt.com/glh_srt4). Have a look.. :)
