I took apart my turbo today

I took apart my turbo today and found out on the compressor side of the turbo the blades of it are verry (severly)bent would that be the cause of not getting boost off the launch? ;)

That could be a big part of it. How did they get bent or did you buy it like that. You should check the turbine side also. I would wager the bearings are worn or damaged from the imbalance.

I bought the turbo brand new they werent bent up like I found it. I took it back to the place i bought it at and there rebuilding the unit they checked the shaft it has slight play in it and there going to just do a few minor repairs to it.

this is what it looked like new I took it to the shop before i could of took some pics of it bent, a couple of blades looked like it's going the opposite direction
