Cut down 2.5 common block head bolts with unknown history.

Studs are probably a good choice! No failures here yet however.

Studs are the obvious choice but OE 8v bolts can be
Red Green'ed to work:

If you measure the tapped depth of your 8v block there
is 15/16"+/- of available depth.

If you drop the 8v OE headbolts thru the 16v Neon head
there is thread covering the entire exposed area.

Dont take my word for it, measure twice, cut one time!

Cutoff wheel to show 7/8-15/16" hanging clear from head
of the 8v bolts, imediately dip in oil to quench. The pitch
of the 11mm bolts is common to chase if needed with
common tap kit.

I drove with that setup for some time without a failure,
not sure I've ever had a headgasket leak...?
