Ive tried jc whitney, and they only list 'daytona' till 1977.. not the fwd cars. Ive also tried summet but didnt find anything promising. Anyone know where i can order NEW molded carper for the 86? I dont want to get carpet from a junk yard.. usually moldy and torn up.

I have to wonder how well their carpet fits. Their carpet listing for the Lebaron says that it fits both coupe and convertible, but they are different. Prices are decent though.

89 Convertible is different than 92 Convertible as well. Some of those sites have a return policy where they pay to have it shipped back if the fit is wrong. Pain in the butt, but at least you know you wont be out cash...

acc fits fairly decent, its nice carpeting, but I personally think it was a pita to cut for the center console etc.

This I did not know! Guess companies try to make these things "one size fits all" so they don't have to carry so many varieties and customer has to make it fit. That policy is good, but can't imagine having to send back a big, heavy carpet. Although, they won't take it back if you've cut it.
