I have a bigger n/a radiator I was thinking of using and was wondering if anybody took this route. Did it cool better?, or should I use the stocker?(I have an aftermarket intercooler going on also) I figured bigger for better cooling. I'm gonna auto-x with it:eyebrows:

Stick with the larger one.

t2s are dual row as opposed to the larger units being single row

So which is better?

debatable...neither? some people swear the larger units are better, but Reeves was making near 500 hp with a shorter dual row with no overheating problems, so I don't know...use what fits

It depends on where you live too...

In phoenix our cars tend to overheat so we need more radiator due to the 115 degree ambient heat on some summer days.

Look for a rad that has wide tubes. A single .75" tube can cool better than two .385" tubes because the surface area is greater in the single tube.

Brass cools better than aluminum but the brass tubes are generally smaller (due to manufacturing costs) so the advantage goes back to aluminum... Of course aluminum is also lighter so making wide tubed aluminum is generally the choice for race cars.

I got sick of it and just went with something that is total overkill. It is a 22x16 core (24x16 overall) with dual row 1" tubes.
