The car is a 1988 Daytona CS TI/auto car. It has NEVER left Florida, or the Jacksonville area AFAIK. There is NO RUST in any of the critical areas(there are pictures to back it up), and overall the car is VERY clean and would make a nice project. It is pretty much 100% stock. The over-axle pipe in the exhaust was replaced, but it still has the stock muffler, tip, cat, ect. The engine is solid and runs well, as is the transmission. The rear shocks are KYB Gas-A-Justs that seem to be in good shape. The battery and alternator are BRAND NEW(just replaced the other day). Basic tune-up stuff has been done. The A/C lines are all NEW, but the system has a leak. The compressor is still good and is not locked up.

It will come with:
-ORIGIONAL window sticker!
-the origional hood(it comes WITH the black BULGE hood on the car)
-the seats that are currently in it as well as the origional seat set(front and rear)
-the origional shortblock(although it is in rough shape as it got left out in the weather)
-the origional fuel tank fromt he car
-a spare known good A413 turbo tranny
-a NEW set of rear discs for the brakes
-a spare set of Shelby Z springs
-the splash sheilds for the inner front fenders(they were removed)
-2 spare upper timing belt covers
-distributor splash shield
-k-frame heat sheild
-left and right door mirror assemblies
-2 spare cup holder assemblies
-a spare timing belt
-a spare exhaust manifold
-the belt spash gaurd
-a spare water pump housing(unknown pump condition)
-2 spare water pump pullies
-a spare right side engine mount assembly
-2 Profile 5x7 rear speakers
-a spare left rear speaker grill

Some not so nice things:
-there is damage to the left rear quater panel, but it *should* be a fairly easy repair for a competant body person
-The fuel pump needs to be replaced as it only runs for a little while, then looses pressure and dies. Since the origional tank is out of the car, this would be VERY easy to do and then reinstall the origional fuel tank!
-the milage is unknown on the chassis...the dash is not origional
-it will need tires at LEAST on the rear as they are getting dry rotted, but they hold air and there is plenty of tread on them
-it has typical paint fade
-there is NO radio and NO speakers installed in the car
-the power steering pump is broken, so it needs replaced
-it needs an alignment, but it goes pretty straight and doesn't steer funny
-the headliner is going to be due for replacement
-there are some interior pieces missing, but nothing major(rear headliner trim being the most prominant part)

I can't think of much else right now, so I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

The car is located in Jacksonville. I would HIGHLY reccomend have some way of towing it, be it a trailer, roll-back, dolly, ect. You will also need some way of taking the parts that go with the car.

I'm asking $1000 OBO for everything!

And this is the tranny...it is pretty greasy, so I didn't take it out of the bag, but if you know what an A413 looks like, then there ya go...LOL

Just an update on this car, I was able to get the (spare) orginal motor free'd up and the cylinder walls dont look bad, but it still would need to go to a machine shop.

I need to make clear that the car IS advertised outside of the TM/TD community. I realized I accidentally omitted this when I initially posted this up.

I just don't want there to be any confusion or misunderstandings. :thumb:

ANOTHER UPDATE!!!:

Testing was done on the charging system. It checks out fine, the issue with the car quitting after a short distance was traced to a loss in fuel pressure that is attibuted to a gorwling(read BAD) fuel pump. Since the origional tank is not in the car, but comes with it, this would be an easy repair and the car would be able to be driven home AFAIK!

So, to recap: the charging system is 100%, the fuel pump is not. So, NO tracing of wires, NO bashing your head in over an electrical gremlin! :thumb: Just R&R the fuel pump(and tank if you so desire) and the car should be a driver! :thumb:
