We've all seen beautiful low mileage survivors of the numbered cars, but I've not seen a low mileage T.

What's the lowest mileage CSXT out there?

(seeing Johnny's got me wondering)

I think I saw that car on ebay about three years ago.

Is that the one that had the damage on the lower rad support like it had been cracked up at one point? If so, I remember that from ebay also.

There's a couple pics of it on our site from the Larz show back in 2007:

If I remember correctly, the car got into a pretty good dinger right after it got to the Thrifty dealer, and then it just sat in the back of the rental lot for about 15 years until someone finally bought it and restored it. It had about 1500 miles when it got wrecked and Dave bought it with about 1800 miles.

That's a nice looking Lancer on the front page! Wonder who would be dumb enough to drive that out to a meeting in February?! ;)

Not trying to hi-jack this thread, but any of you SDACNE guys know who's car this is? I almost want to say that the's a pic of my 89 CSX before I bought it. I say this because it has very similar subtle characteristics to my car...

Wow, some fine example's there. I like how the CSX-T is the showroom queen. LOL

2,000 miles!!??!! Even being repaired, I never would have guessed it.

My bro was the first owner of a T car after Thrifty. We found small bits of broken glass here and there that indicated it had some type of damage while being a rental. I bet a lot of them were abused.

If you're talking about the 89 CSX from the Larz 2007 show, I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who had an 89 csx there that year, so that would be mine.

JT - I usually try to list who was there and if there were any numbered cars, I try to list the numbers, but I guess I slacked on that event...LOL!

Looking at the pictures and drawing from memory, the numbered cars in attendance were:

86 GLHS #126 - Mark Jewson (won the show)
87 CSX #603 - Jon Pimental (sold the car last year)
87 Lancer #63 - Tod Drake (recently sold the car to Jeremy Whetzel)
88 CSX-T #? - Dave Lewis
89 CSX #141 - Jon Berube
89 Shelby Dakota #? - Owner ?

That's the best I can do. If Bill Baker sees this thread, I'm sure he'll know the owner (and maybe the number) of the Shelby Dakota.

At the Mopar Nats 3 or 4 years ago? there was a CSX-T for sale in the car corral that had around 7k on the clock. Very nice shape may I add.
