FM Head porting info

Does any one know anything about the Stage 1 ported head that FM sold while Cliff Sebring owned it? I might be buying a used one for a good price to put on the 2.5 I'm building. I want to know if any one knows what the specs are on the stage1 head so when I get a 3bar cal from Turbos Unleashed I can put that info on the build sheet.

I am looking for flow numbers or other data like that

Thanks

I have never really seen any hard and fast numbers posted regarding their heads.

Nope, never heard any numbers on FM heads either in the Sebring/Bachman days or the Demoss days...

I'd imagine being stage 1 it is a light port job slightly opening up the ports and cleaning up the casting surface.

Ok.... I am pretty sure its gasket matched as well.... I will just put a message that the head has been lightly ported on the order form

don't know.... I think that if I was going to get a head ported I would get it in this order
1.Steve Mennagon/Todd Nelson
2.MPGMike
3.LoneWolfPerformance (might be first choice if they could do it the fastest)
4.ThePope
5.FWDPerformance/TU

I have no doubt in all of the above's ability to port the hell out of our heads

It is hard to make a list like that without flow numbers or something behind it.

I wonder how my head guy would stack up to your list. If I ever find the list of the flow numbers for my head, I'll post them.

I am not sure how well MPGMike's work is, but I would not recommend ThePope even to the competition. I have seen his work online and it is putrid to say the least.

Up there with Steve and Todd I would aslo include Stephane. He doesn't advertise, but I don't think he'd refuse any work.

I recommend Steve Menegon all the way. He's a master at port work. The Pope? Good God, no. I wouldn't trust him to change oil, let alone put a grinder in his hand and let him near my cylinder head.

There are a few people on td.com that are running MPGmikes heads. Dez is one of them. He says he is getting almost 40mpg with his head and tune, while before he was only getting low 20's. There are atleast 2 or 3 other people who are running his heads that have nothing but good things to say about it.

You can read about todd nelson on Donovans site. And he was recomended to me by several people on the SDML. I want to say for about $800 that gives you 180/140 along with new head guts. I posted an email I got from him on td.com just do a search for todd nelson on td.com and I am sure you will find the thread I posted in.

My mpgmike head should be shipping out to me Monday. It was flowed Saturday. Ramps up very quick it seems.
