Well this time next month i am droping the motor to have the cylinder head flow tested and fix the dam popping freeze out plug (lol) I was thinking of swapping out my header since NOBODY can figure out my high egt's But good wideband. The best explaintion i get is because its a ss header thats ceramic coated it will make the exhaust read hotter.

Anyway do you think i should swap it out and sell the header of just keep it

thanks all

I prefer the new cast design over the weld el's and t's
if you got the cash now is the time to do it
Will you get your money back when someone can buy the cast one new probally cheaper then what you'll lose on selling the s/s header
maybe keep the s/s for a daily driver project
or just keep using the s/s header since it's working and on the head

Do you have a wideband? What ignition timing are you running? Is the ECU pulling timing?

My guess is that you are knocking and the ECU is pulling timing, or your fueling is all messed up or both (reason why its knocking).

What are your egts?
