OK guys, sorry for the delay… this is how it works:

I’ll order all Quaife LSDs at once along with a 25% deposit ($225.00USD per unit). They will provide an ETA at that time (usually around 12 weeks).
At any time during this process we can have an update on whats going on and all that stuff. so everything is transparent.
1 week before the units are finished I’ll be given a call with the exact finishing date and we’ll have to send the balance of the money.
As soon as they’re done, the US units will ship directly to Chris@TU and the European ones will come to me.

Now because i’m sitting in Europe (with a completely different time zone than most of you) and have a job which consumes most of my time. I will only be handling European customers.

I'm out, decided on the OBX instead. Sorry! I can't wait 4 months anyway.....the bug has it's teeth deep in me anyway. This is a GREAT PRICE however!!!!!!! Once they are available "in store" I may order one to put on the shelf for later. The cool thing about the OBX is choice in gear ratio(3.50,3.77, and of coarse 3.85)and its lifetime warranty also. With the Quaiffe, your stuck with 3.85 only :(

That's not too bad since we just started taking orders only a few days ago. In order to keep the early birds from waiting too long Andy and I will probably put a time limit on taking orders. If we have not reached 10 by a date TBA TU will purchase the balance, but, the price goes up $50. and no more free shipping. We will figure out a date soon and post it here.

Hey Andreas, have you struck a deal to pick up someone’s surplus? When i spoke to Quife last they told me they sold off the last few units to a VW tuners in the states, and when i contacted them, sure enough they are in possession of a load of A555 lsds... why, i have no idea.

Ok guys, here the latest news...
units are going to be ready by the end of this month. :thumb:
now i want you guys to know that over the past three months currency changed more than i expected and
keeping the final price at 950 would leave me covering a difference of nearly 600usd total.

Since I’m not doing this for profit I honestly cannot cover that. What I didn’t realize is that shipping from England is astronomicaly expensive. Shipping from Austria is not quite so bad. So because I screwed up, I will be personally driving to Quaife and pick up the units myself in order to save everybody money. It’s going to take me two days of driving through 6 different countries but that’s how I’m trying to compensate it.

We still need to split the 600USD though, that adds 60USD on the final price of each. Initially Quaife offered to ship for free and just to get things rolling Chris offered the free shipping from his location in AZ to you guys.

Now, I totally understand if you’re mad, but put it this way, I’m trying to get the whole deal working because I didn’t and still don’t want these units gone for this community and myself.

Be sure…had I known all this before, I would have let everyone know…and I wont do it ever again. :)

I’m planning to drive there by Sept. 7th, so for all of you that are still with me here, please make sure you pay the balance to your deposit at least by the 31st of August. Note that Chris will wire transfer the money to me and I have to wire transfer it too. The deal was that only one person had to take the financial responsibility and that was me. So, please make sure all final payments are in by 8-31 so I can pick these units up.

We are waiting on Andy to obtain the exact revised total before we place anything on our site. Once we have confirmed the amount with him we will go ahead and change the "Balance of Payment" $ total in the drop down box. Hey Andreas, sorry to be slow on the uptake here, but if you need any help, just LMK! Quife are about 60 miles from me. Your going Calais to Dover right? Quife is just 30-40 miles up the road from there, so not too far once you've crossed half of Europe!!
