I'm starting to assemble my car this week...Well more starting to tear it down and get it ready for the hybrid transplant.
I'm torn between a T3/T4 Super50 trim with a stage 3 .63 exhaust and the 60 trim with the same exhaust side.
My setup is looking like this so far.
- Stock DOHC head from a 97 neon, all new valve train.
- Stock 2.0L Cams
- FWDP Adj. Cam gears.
- 2.2L cast crank
- 92 CB with forged Venolia pistons 8.1:1 CR
- Reconditioned T2 Rods
- Custom intake manifold, 6" runners with a 4" plenum.
- 60mm throttle body from 5.0L Mustang
- +40 Injectors (Should I get bigger ones?)
- 3-Bar Map
- Custom Fuel rail...Home built, pressure tested to 200psi, no leaks.
- Universal AFPR from TU
- RFL Bov
- Going to run an internal wastegate from ATPturbo. Turbo will have a Std.(Ford) exhaust housing.

- 3" exhaust with highflow cat and muffler, side exit.
- 255l/hr fuel pump.
- A 24x12x3" FMIC
- Head studs, Main studs
- Melling oil pump.
- Going to run a 5spd. I have a lead on an A555 at a local junk yard I'm going to check out in the morning.
- Going to order a cal from TU as soon as I get my turbo and injector choices situatied.
- Home made log exhaust mani. Similar to the manifold on the omni that Russ built
Car is currently an '88 Shadow ES T1 Auto that I swapped a garret on to.
Need to add the wires for the intake temp sensor and obtain a T2 SMEC for 88/89 for the initial start until I get the custom cal.
Sooo...Help me decide my turbo and injector choice. Discuss away.
