Sounds like it's stuck open. Disassemble, clean, reassemble and try again. Unless it's the gasket that's between the BOV and the flange.

Make sure you have the top hooked up to MANIFOLD Vacuum. Also, the valve does leak at slight throttle openings hence why we crush them a bit and run a filter on the outlet.

its hooked directly into the manifold. it leaks really loud at acceleration. and slightly at idle. and im sure its not the gasket. how do you clean them?

Actually, if you're still getting boost, check that your air intake is still connected. I thought I had the same problem, and it was just my intake to the turbo had come a bit loose, and the more boost it got, the louder it was.

Yeah but look at the shipping. More than the cost of the BOV itself. Probably better off making sure nothing's wrong with this one and if there is a problem, buying one that's actually worth 45 bucks, like a used 1st Gen Talon.

well i look at it this way i spent 50 buck on my talon BOV and that was a used one so 45 bucks for a new adjustable Bov is pretty good with me LOL.

Adjustable is nice, but I question the quality is all. I've bought some cheap things that worked well, but for the most part I find that you get what you pay for with moving parts.

Knowing Butch, he would not try selling you a bad BOV on purpose. (sorry for complimenting you butchie) Having it open at slight throttle or idle is normal. That's because vacuum is pulling it off the seat ever so slightly.

Watch your boost guage and if it's venting when you are IN boost, then yeah...something's not right. Is this a stock bov or was it modified with the second port via Gus and Gary's site?

no no, im not blaming butch at all. im just trying to figure out what the deal is. its an unmodified BOV.

Double check the vacuum supply, it really sounds like its trying to open when it shouldn't. Make sure the line doesn't have the check valve in it.

the line goes straight to the manifold. one peice of line. mabey its just gone bad.

double check the line from your brake booster as well, as it can affect the vacuum/boost if it's leaking.
