I really dont want to do this, infact it brings a tear to my eye. I have run into a situation which i will explain briefly.

The landlord of the Upper Flat that im renting is selling the house to his son. His son, his wife and 2 kids will be moving in the main floor and also moving his motherinlaw into the basement. They are living at his motherinlaws 2 bedroom house until the end of the month. They will then sell her house and move everything here. Because the lower floor has been vacent for the last 8 months I was giving permission to use the garage (not in the lease). They are taking control of the Garage and my car has to go. A new lease will be made when he gets ownership of the house. They informed my GF that if i do not remove my car by the end of the month they will tow it out. I dont live in too nice of a neighbor hood and I refuse to let this car sit outside to be ruined by ghetto kids. I would also like to add that he attempted to purchase the house a year ago was was going to evict us to move his motherinlaw into the upper flat which i assume is still his motive.

Now on to the car details save the sob story.

The Good
I bought this car Last July with 126,000 miles on the clock and have driven it around 600 miles.

Its fastest run with its current setup was 14.3@97.8 by the last owner. I ran mid 15's.

It has an 89 common block rebuilt about 3 thousands miles ago and also bored .020 over. Also equipped with Mahle pistons and a Melling oil pump.
*Edit 2.2 L
It has a rebuilt 87 head.
It has a stock T2 inter cooler with a upper hard pipe,a 1G Talon BOV, 5th injector setup and tapped for H2O injection. Billet vacuum block with hobbs switch for fifth injector is also included.

It has a Walbro(sp?) 255 Fuel Pump.

The 5 speed trans was replaced by the last owner (unlucky (http://www.turbododge.com/forums/member.php?u=935) from the TD forums)
with a 1989 a413 from a turbo mini van, with new Alto clutches and steels.
Also with a Cheetah RMVB Shift kit, (you must shift car manually)

It is equipped with a Mitsu TEO4 Turbo, I was getting 15 PSI at 2,000 RPMs.

The K-Frame was replaced with a 92 K frame along with the control arms.

I have a 2 1/2 inch exhaust pipes from the downpipe back (no cat) with a Dynomax muffler.

Tires: almost new Kumo ecsta 711.

The headliner was replaced by the last owner too. The seats are original and are in ok condition.

The Bad
Last OCT the car started to blow White smoke out of the exhaust, so i thought it was a blown head gasket, but the gasket was fine.

I believe it has either a cracked head, or coolant cartridge in the turbo that was causing the smoke.
The head and the turbo are removed from the engine. The head has been completely dissembled in preparation of a successful pressure check, me and my friend were going to port it and give it a nice valve job. I would not have the cash to even get it tested until June.

The steering rack is loose. It moves about 1/8 of an inch when you move the steering while when not moving.. I replaced all 4 bolts but the upper right bolt does not want to go in properly, The hole may need to be tapped or ran through with a thread chaser.

There are no visible rust on the body, but in the trunk where the spare sits, is soft as if it was gone over with por 15 (sp?) due to a rust spot or hole.

The cost of ownership
I paid $1800 for this car almost a year ago and drove it from the middle of Ohio (its last home) to Detroit MI.
My asking price is $1000 or best offer. All offers no matter the amount will be considered. I refuse to let this car be towed away from me by a ruthless landlord. A td guy will fix her up and enjoy her just as i have. I also have no where else to store the car until July or i would keep it. I just have 1 request, if you buy this car and sell it at a later date, to give me the first option of buying it back. Remember the head is off the engine and is not driveable home. I can help with towing as my GF has a jeep, we just need to rent a dolly and a hitch.
One last thing, im contacting the last owner and giving him the first offer to buy this back. If he turns it down, every offer will be considered.

Or if i get lucky one of you will offer me a way to store my car :)

Can you afford one of them storage shed things where people keep their stuff? Just a thought.

You pics arent working, only little red X's also.

Good luck with the car, and if it gets to be crunch time and you really need it gone, let me know and we can work something out maybe.

Ah, i had hotlink protection turned on turned on, and the images were in my cache so i didnt even notice.

Im going to be looking into storage soon, but i doubt i can afford it. My bills are almost as much as i make right now, and i have to start saving to move my --- out of this flat. As soon as they move in everything is going to hell.

Just an update, I think i may have found a way to save this car for myself.
Im still going to be considering offers just in case. Its iffy if i can pull this off, Wish me luck.

I hope you have been able to find a way to store or have sold that car, its a terrible thing that someone would tow such a nice ride. Good luck!
