i just rebuilt my 2.2 and im wondering oil pressure problem , the clearances .003 on the crank and .0015 on the rods , the gauge in cold condition is up to the half of the gauge and hot pressure is about the quarter of the gauge , am i to low in oil pressure , im using 5w30 should i use 10w30 or 15w40 ?

Stock guage isn't really accurate, you need to install or temporarily install an aftermarket guage so you can see the pressure.

In winter, I would go with a 5w30/40 synthetic and summer, 5/10w40/50. 15w40 isn't bad but its thick, robs HP.

With a real guage, you should see at least 10-15 psi at idle, then 10 more psi per 1000 rpm, rule of thumb. 1/4 on the factory guage is about right though.
