High Torq 2.5

Just got a 91 Covertable Lebaron GTC, 5 speed, High Torq. What makes this a high torque motor as compared to the regular 2.5?

The ECU deliver's full boost to the engine right away. Insted of limiting boost till you're over a certain rpm (3500 I think). The Automatics couldn't handle the huge torque of a 2.5 so they limited the boost to keep the the torque down. Adding a Manual boost controller to your 2.5 automatically makes it a high-torque 2.5. They did the same thing on the GLHS because the 525 wouldn't reliabily handle over 175ft-lbs.
