Also posted this on TD site after seeing they had a DSM section.
Here is pics of my 89 fiji blue quest i am in the process of making more of a monster than my past black 89 mpi quest and my 89 starion (1 of the 159 actual mitsu starions made in 89 to the USA). I no longer have pics of my 88 quest with the 350 v8 i put in it or any of my other SQ's. Here is a couple pics of each in order as mentioned and i will edit pics as i start putting the carbon fiber body panels on the fiji and all the stuff going in the engine bay. Still havent gotten around to taking pics of my 89 turbo voyager lol. I have a few pics of my addition of a SQ front mount i added to the van but thats it. Anyway here we go.
In its stock form. No engine or tranny and awaiting the build and Blue tinted Carbon kevlar updated bumpers, hood and some other misc body parts of the like.

T-70 powered, MPI converted black 89. Sold off a few years ago. Guess it dont count anymore but i figured i would toss the 2 cars in here with the fiji and the soon to come van pics lol which will bne in the regular section of the site. the pic of the engine bay is after i sold it all to a friend in CT and the pic is of it all in his 88 silver starion, all of it was mine except the turbo in the pic for the most part, he added that turbo on and I sold the master power T-70 seperately from the car and engine bay stuff and other goodies it had. I still have the engine from the pic and its being used in my fiji.

1 of 159 89 starions in the USA. I'm friends with the guy i sold it to (originally bought it from him just about stock) so, in turn at least i always know where it is lol, as far as i remember him saying, his uncle, himself and me are the only owners since it was new. Stats on it were a complete customized TBI setup modded from stock. Bigger injectors, evo 3 ported big 16g, all braided lines on fuel and turbo, etc. HDI electronic boost controller. 2.5 inch downpipe to a 3" KDM stainless exhaust and SFP tube header. 20 psi daily. Stock but new non-jet valve head casting with ARP head studs and felpro perf 9116 head gasket, stock bottom end. Actually i will stop here cus the list goes on and pretty much nothing was stock except the bottom end and tranny as well as interior with the exception of a custom radio bezel and gauge cluster. Found a pic of the engine bay, clean except the dingy paint lol i couldnt get it clean (was dirtier lol) and some of the old electronic parts and reservoirs, etc are dingy i didnt care to get into all that crap, it was just a fast daily driver i had a lot of fun with. Bastad spum me in a complete 180 while under WOT in 4th gear from a minor slick spot a little after i did the work and all, wasnt expecting it but it roasted 1st and 2nd and could spin 3rd pretty nice too and that was with the stock SHP front 8x16 and rear 9x16 which had 245 50 16's. OH and mind the ugly metal strips i had holding the stock fan i had to rig in such a tight spot to have an electric fan cause of that big radiator (useless rad i should say and was one of the few things he had on the car but i kept the rad cus the stock stuff was hacked to fit so i didnt bother trying to even mess with that). Couldnt even at least get a flex fan on. So used a pusher fan and re-wired to be a puller in front between the rad and IC and then the stocker i managed to SQUEEZE between the rad and engine offset from stock as u can see with those dumb brackets. I ended up selling before i got those small things worked out to nicer brackets and such. With it being my daily at the time and my one son (before our daughter came along) I was lucky to even have the time i did to make it what it was, but for keeping it TBI it was a darn fast and reliable car for the 2 and a half years at 20 psi so i musta done something right lol and its still running now for him daily a year later than that to this day (knock on wood). http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e45/tsiconquest88/turbo%20voyager/l_21614645ccd5ea02f832ccb5246db643.jpg http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e45/tsiconquest88/engine2.jpg
