my kid has a 99 dualie, Cummins .
it has developed a shimmy in the front end.
is the shock on the drag link shot??

Tires, brakes, worn ball joints, steering damper, track bar, tie rod ends, drag link....Anything's possible. Have it inspected by someone who knows how to check it properly.

+2, they are notorious for ball joints and the track bar(s). There is also a steering box brace available.

I agree, more than likely bad tires.
