just thought i'd share the info on the resto work i had done on my extra set of Centurion I's that i use just for slicks at the track, resto work was performed by Carl at Long Island Rim in Freeport, NY, his # is 516-377-9577 and his website is:

here's a pix, these two started out very ugly with the typical brake dust diffused into the openings and corrosion from the wheels weights and a few surface scars. he grit blasts then machines the surfaces and clear-coats in a variety of colors per customer requirements. i went with clear all-over, cost was $100 per wheel and Carl did a great job.

Did he paint the openings? If I can sell a few things, I'm sending mine there because those look great!

KEVIN no i didnt ask for any colorations but he can make the openings in many different colors. for example, Cliff R's Cent I's were done by Carl using a greyish coloration in the inserts, looks great and helps hide the brake dust.
