It seems the L-body door handles wear out and you have to reach for the stars to get the door to open. While changing one out with a new Mopar replacement, I noticed that they were interchangable from side to side. I then looked at the old one coming out and realized that it wore out on the loaded side. It would appear that by swapping the handles from side to side would improve their ability to do their job. Just wanted to pass it on.

What works best for me is after the door handle is installed and ready to be adjusted, leave the interior door panel off. Take a big screw driver and pry on the back side of the door latch adjustment while using the other hand to tighten the adjuster. It takes the slack out of the rod assembly and allows the door to open with very little effort on the door handle. Don't pry the peices apart too far or the door won't latch.
