The annual OVC Winter Kart Smackdown would be on Saturday, Feb. 7 2009, at Compitition Racing in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, just West of Cincinnati.

It's an Indoor go kart track, and they just moved across the street to a larger facility, so a NEW track for all to enjoy!!! :rockon:

Kart racin', then, of course - the afterparty at an "undisclosed" OVC Safehouse.... ;)

And, the 2009 racing season starts that night too, with the NASCAR Bud Shootout from Daytona. :number1:

We are really going to be hustling to get the motor/trans out of the Spurt, get them seperated, get the engine on a stand, get the trans in the trunk of the Spurt, and get it all loaded back up before 2pm, so we can get cleaned up and head out of here by 3pm! And it's Beer Fest tonight at the Radisson! 75 different beers on tap, all you can drink.. Yummmm......

Yep, Fleck REALLY helped me out and picked it up out there for me then trailered it back. Brap Pennington(BradP) and I are going to be parting it out. I'm needing the motor, windshield and wheels, and Brad just needs odds and end body parts. Let us know what you are wanting and we'll get an idea of what it's gonna take and if it's even in good shape. I have yet to see it in the day, but I'm sure it's just your typical TD.

I went out to the go-cart races but didn't have a chance to really stay or mingle. It REALLY sucked because I wanted to go to Kens and meet up with everybody, but I had to go bright and early to my reserve training class on Sunday(8 AM) and get maced(YAY!). Thanks again to everybody for setting it up and I SWEAR next time I'll get to BS around and be the butt of some jokes....
