Heh, just the gas in the tank question here...Sorry, bad joke..

Anyways, with the current situation with my 600, I was wondering: Since it's sitting "most" of the time with about a 1/4 tank of gas, would it be wise to fill it up at least to a 1/2 tank? It will more likely be sitting until August when, at which time I'll be able to start working on the piston repair. How long does gas stay "good"?
I wanted to add some more to the tank just to make sure the pump doesn't get fried from too little gas. The 600 is sitting at my fathers house and he goes out and starts it up once a week for about 10-15 minutes.

Thanks! :)

Fill it up and put a fuel stabilizer in it. When its empty, the moisture will rust the inside of the tank.

Yep, best thing to do. When I put a car up for the winter, I fill the tank then use sta-bil fuel stabilizer.
