so my friend has an srt-4 neon and it just starts reving up out of no where and it just goes crazy.. have you ever heard of this problem before? what could it be?

When? at startup? when driving? When cold? hot? Could be many many things without more info. Shot in the dark, vacuum leak... somehwere?

The tps wiring and cracked intake gaskets are pretty common.
