whats under my top?

ok, i have a 87 baron sitting at home and im not a a big fan of what it looks like. it has way to much chrome and that ugly vinyl top. the chrome is easy, pull it off, weld the holes and call it a day. whats under that top?? is it just glued on there? looking for any help. also, this is just a new yorker right?

no, don't remove the top unless you're repainting. that top is glued to the paint

thats fine. i have no problem repainting it as long as there is good metal under it. what would the best way to get it off be?
