hey guys im having some problems with my mini.Over the summer the tranny started slipping a little so i put some(1/3of bottle) Lucas shift improver fluid. After a week car went back to normal shifing pattern then it got a little colder out and it would not shift into reverse and sometimes Drive while the car was cold but would start shifting better as the car got warmer. So I put more tranny fixer fluid and It fixed the problem or so I thought. Now the car wont shift at all when its cold and the car has to be running and driven for about 20-30 mins before it shifts fine.Anyone have any Ideas?I plan on a complete motor and tranny swap around jan.-feb.

Have you checked the fluid level? Too high or too low?

Adjusted the bands?

It sounds like the pump is either weak or the seals are hard so nothing will fix it except an overhaul.

Could the Lucas be geling up and causing the issues?

Good point, it could be as that stuff is thick. A customer had me try it in a tired Celica and it got cold here, still shifted fine?
