I'm considering a 2.5 G head 520 w/lsd build up in an L body. Wondering if the light flywheel would be benefical. From what I've read and my experience with 2.5 in Lebaron convert. that's a lot of torque which could translate into traction issues at low rpm. Thinking if I could get a good port job on head so it'd breaths good up top I could use a larger turbo that'd spool later and move rpm range up.............ideas and suggestions are appreciated.

Whenever you reduce rotating weight, it helps. Light flywheels are more beneficial on cars that turn lots of RPM. In my opinion, the cost of an aluminum flywheel would not be worth it on a 2.5, low RPM torque motor.
