I'm not sure if this is in the correct place in the forum, please correct if necessary.

I am in the middle of swapping out stock 86 t1 from an SC into a t2 with a glhs stageII, +20's, etc etc...

but I hear talk about a 3 bar cal, where can I find some reading literature that explains the difference in a normal versus a 3 bar cal. and is it worth it to upgrade from stock to 3 bar?

also, I sar on TU that the 3 bar map they have is a GM map. do all maps work the sale among manufacturers?

much appreciated.

If your going to run over 14.7 PSI, then you either have to (a) fool the MAP sensor into thinking your NOT running over 14.7 PSI, (b) fool the computer to think your NOT running over 14.7 PSI, or (c) use a 3 bar cal which is good to 29.4 PSI.

If you get a 3 bar cal computer do you also need the 3 bar map?
