I don't know if it's crappy gas or what. Whenever I accelerate at RPM's lower than 2500 my car dumps out and turns off my cruise. It sputters, but keeps running. Would this be the fuel pump? If so, how hard is that to replace in these cars?

I wouldn't expect a fuel filter to be the cause of the problem. They're located in the tank as part of the fuel pump module.

Regarding stumbles, the most common problems on neons have always been arching spark plugs and wires, unless you have any dtc's to follow up on, I'd inspect and change the plugs and wires first.

Do you know what ingition archs look like?

they like to eat coils too. I would get it scanned at autostoned.

Should be able to get the trouble codes off the computer by doing the old key turn trick, on-off-on-off-on, then the codes will display on the digital odometer.

I'll do this on Sunday. It wasn't that bad today, but I made it think I was gonna trade it in on a C-SRT4. Insurance differed thoughts though...

Ive seen this before.... On a buddys 2gn. Its sparked related and usually is plugs, wires or the coil. Start at the cheapest and work your way up.

Fuel pump is easy, drop the tank a bit, just like a TM. Trouble is, pumps are friggin expensive, so just get a 255 from TU or FWD and take the module apart.
