Well,

Pulled the seat covers off my 86, sent them through the wife's washing machine, and they look brand new. Gonna try with with my Buick Grand National next.

Now, where do I find the Hogs Rings to re-attach the seats and what size Hog Rings would I use???

Will this work, not sure what size they are, but you would think this would be somethign fairly standard.

Find a local car or even a home upholstery shop, they will have what you need.

You need a set of hog ring pliers. Which are not cheap. And some hog rings. They usually come in 1lb units.

Theres a trick to removing the rings if you dont know it already. Just take a pair of side cutters, grab one side, and twist. They will come right out.

Heres a link, I have always used the osborne.

Not sure of the size, but my favorite store, Eastwoods, has the rings and pliers.

I did the seat in my Dakota a few years ago and I made a set of hog-ring pliers. I took a set of cheap Wal-Mart generic pliers and dremeled a groove in the jaw surfaces. It worked exactly like the real thing. and it cost $2.
